In a decisive move to strengthen Nigeria’s industrial sector, the Minister of State for Industry, Senator John Enoh, initiated a series of strategic briefings on the 7th of November, with key departments within the Ministry.

These sessions aim to align departmental efforts with the Ministry’s mission to foster economic growth through industrial advancement and diversification.

The first round of briefings involved the Industrial Development Department, the Industrial Inspectorate Department, and the Chemical and Non-Pharmaceutical Department. Directors of each department presented ongoing initiatives and outlined areas for improvement. Discussions focused on actionable strategies to streamline operations and meet key objectives effectively.

Senator Enoh emphasised the Ministry’s commitment to creating a supportive environment for industrial development, innovation, and regulatory efficiency.

“By refining our approaches and aligning our goals, we are setting a foundation for sustainable industrial growth that will strengthen Nigeria’s economy and open up new opportunities,” he remarked.

These briefings mark a proactive step toward advancing Nigeria’s industrial potential and underscore the Ministry’s dedication to fostering a resilient, diversified economy.
